Frequently Asked Questions

1. What engraving machines are suitable for electrical switchboard labelling?

Our Traffmaster CO₂ lasers—TM300 and TM600—are designed for engraving plastic laminates used in panels, switchboards, and control systems.

We stock Rowmark engraving laminates, commonly referred to as Traffolyte. These are UV-stable, flame-retardant, and come with 3M adhesive backing unless otherwise specified.

Yes. Our MetalMaster fibre lasers (MM15 and MMClass 1) are built for direct marking on stainless steel, aluminium, and other metals used in cable ID and asset tracking.

The MMClass 1 is a mine-spec enclosed model for high-safety environments. The MM15 is an open-frame unit ideal for general workshop use.

Yes. Both TM300 and TM600 support nested layouts and batch engraving workflows, allowing you to process hundreds of labels in one run.

All standard Traffolyte sheets come pre-backed with 3M high-tack adhesive, suitable for powder-coated metal, painted surfaces, and plastic enclosures.

Yes. All machines include proprietary control software designed for streamlined label creation, batch processing, and template setup. It’s configured during installation to match your requirements.

We don’t supply pre-made templates, but we assist with custom template setup during installation—tailored to your switchboard layouts and regulatory needs.

TM300 suits smaller workshops and low-to-medium volume jobs. TM600 offers a larger bed size and faster throughput for high-volume production.

Yes. Every machine includes installation support and hands-on training, including template setup, material handling, and basic troubleshooting.

We offer back-to-base servicing and remote support. Our technicians assist with diagnostics, alignment, and software setup via phone or video call.

Yes. Rowmark laminates are UV-stable and weather-resistant, suitable for outdoor electrical enclosures and exposed switchboards.

Yes. We stock Traffolyte in multiple colour combinations to meet phase marking and safety signage requirements under AS/NZS 3000.

Yes. We stock stainless steel and aluminium blanks compatible with our fibre lasers. These are ideal for cable ID, asset tracking, and equipment labelling.

Our CO₂ lasers are calibrated for optimal speed and power settings to prevent warping. Recommended settings are provided during installation.

Yes. Both MetalMaster fibre lasers and Traffmaster Co2 Lasers support high-resolution marking of QR codes, barcodes, and serial numbers.

We can supply full sheets or cut-to-size blanks based on your project requirements. Just specify dimensions when ordering.

Yes. The 3M adhesive used on our Traffolyte sheets is rated for industrial environments, including switchboards exposed to elevated temperatures.

Yes. Our CO₂ lasers produce high-contrast safety signage on Traffolyte. We assist with layout setup during installation to meet your specific needs.

Contact our team for a tailored consultation. We’ll help you choose the right machine, materials, and setup based on your labelling volume and compliance needs.

For plastic switchboard labels, panel overlays, and safety signage, choose a Traffmaster CO₂ laser (TM300 or TM600). For metal cable markers, asset tags, and stainless steel labelling, go with a MetalMaster fibre laser (MM15 or MMClass 1). Your choice depends on the material you’re engraving and the environment it’s going into.
